An online platform has recently been launched with the purpose to help and support the bilateral partnership in innovation between Brazil and Sweden. Since 2015 Sweden and Brazil have a partnership agreement with the purpose of developing and strengthen the cooperation on innovation between the two countries. To improve the communication, Vinnova (Swedish Agency for Innovation) have financed a project entitled Sweden Brazil Innovation Initiative. SBII is coordinated by Rise (Research Institute of Sweden) and CISB (Swedish-Brazilian Research and Innovation Centre) with the technical support of OSI Brasília.
The main objective of the project is to enhance the communication between the two countries innovation ecosystem with focus on public agencies, researchers, industries and startups. Inside the online platform you will find:
- Information about the innovation partnership;
- Research and Development areas defined in the Agreement;
- Events of SBII but also related to our cooperation;
SBII is a broad platform supporting long-term relationships that enables collaborations and foster co-creation in innovation ecosystems.
Besides the platform and LinkedIn page, SBII is also responsible for webinar series, most recently one has been broadcasted to promote a Vinnova – Embrapii Call for bilateral projects. That particular webinar concept was developed by CISB in partnership with OSI-Brasília and Embrapii. In total, the webinar series had more than 180 participants and 300 registrations.
