Science offers many answers to shared threats and many innovations that can help us seize common opportunities…” Inspired by these words from Ban Ki Moon, former Secretary-General of the United Nations, “A Sustainable Future in Spirit of Nobel” will be the theme for our celebration on the Nobel Day at the Embassy in Beijing, hosted by Ambassador Helena Sångeland and in cooperation with the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA)

Indeed, in so many areas, the Nobel Prizes have become the best examples of how excellence in science is contributing to a sustainable future.

On the Nobel Day, top scientists on both the Swedish and Chinese sides will tell us about their research and innovations, which are making important contributions to dealing with sustainability challenges.

At the High-Level Dialogue, we will have key actors sharing their thoughts on how future research and innovation cooperation can contribute to sustainability transformation from a global perspective.

On the Nobel Day, it will also be a special occasion to cherish the scientists, particularly Nobel Laureates, who have made great contributions to a better world.

It will be an evening full of inspiration and food for thoughts to lighten the winter darkness and gloom and we are so much looking forward to telling you more soon…
